As we all know, Samsung Captivate is the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S cell phone. And this hot device comes to T-Mobile as the Samsung Vibrant, Verizon as the Samsung Facinate and it is called Samsung Epic 4G by Sprint.

Why it is so popular with these carriers in the United States? Let’s try to find the answer from the brilliant phone experts who are standing on different places with their professional views!

Unwiredview: “Whichever floats your boat, I know that my experience with the Captivate was a pleasant one. All the bells and whistles I need are there, plus a lot of extra ones that will satisfy any gadget junkie like myself. It performs flawlessly as an actual phone, with only slight lags in the processing power.”

Slashgear: “It’s probably the display that is the Galaxy S’ crowning glory, with Samsung’s own Super AMOLED technology making a reappearance after its decent showing on the bada-powered Wave. Here, though, it’s grown to 4-inches (800 x 480 resolution) and it’s quite the eye-catcher. Colors are vivid and beautifully saturated, while the brightness is easily strong enough on the medium setting.”

CNET: “The Samsung Galaxy S is a feature-packed smart phone with a huge, gorgeous screen. Samsung’s own software falls flat, but its hardware ticks every box, and, with Android providing the brains and usability, the result is an excellent phone”

Pocketlint: “The Samsung Galaxy S is certainly a competitive device, with the Super AMOLED screen being a real star, making your content look sensational. It might not be constructed from premium materials like the iPhone 4 or the HTC Desire, but we like it all the same: it is comfortable to use, a great device for consuming media.”

Mobilityminded: “Samsung did a great job with the Galaxy S device. The Super AMOLED 4 inch screen is eye candy. The User Interface is attractive and the added functionalities of the Samsung widgets makes it even more so attractive. The device is bigger compared to the Apple iPhone 4 but is lighter in your pockets. My only negative point as I pointed out in the video is the that the reaction of switching screen is slow using the buttons on the front of the device. The touch feedback is fast, but a delay in visual.”
