How to transfer MP3 files from PC to the Samsung Flight

Ref: How to transfer MP3 files from PC to the Samsung Flight, AT&T Samsung Flight tip

My best friend got her Samsung Flight last week, she told me she loves his phone very much! But she joked that her Samsung Flight is too smart to be controled;) She didn’t know how to transfer MP3 files from PC to her Samsung Flight, we found the way in Samsung Flight user manual. Now I’m going to share this tip with people who need it:)

On the PC, you need to:

Step 1. Insert the microSD memory card into the memory card adaptor

Step 2. Insert the memory card adaptor into the memory card reader

Step 3. Connect the memory card reader to the PC’s USB port

Step 4. Copy desired MP3 files from the PC hard drive

Step 5. Paste the MP3 files into the microSD memory card’s Music or Tones folder, within the Audio folder
Remove the microSD memory card from the memory card adaptor

On your Samsung Flight, do the following steps:

Step 1. Make your Samsung Flight in standby mode, insert the microSD memory card into the memory card slot which is located under the battery cover

Step 2. Press Menu

Step 3. Press My Stuff

Step 4. Press the drop down arrow then press Memory Card

Step 5. Press Audio

Step 6. Press the Music and Tones folder

Step 7. Press Manage

Step 8. Press either Move or Copy

Step 9. Press on each MP3 file to check their boxes or press All to check all boxes

Step 10. Press either Move or Copy

Step 11. Press Phone

Step 12. Press the Audio folder

Step 13. Press either the Tones or Music folder

Step 14. Press either Paste here or Move here to Move or Copy the MP3 file(s) to your Samsung Flight

That’s all! It seems complicated but it’s easy as long as you follow the above steps! And please note that the minimum size limit for the microSD memory card is 32MB. Samsung Flight supports the use of a microSDHC 16GB capacity memory card!

And, you’d better know audio files less than 300 KB are treated as ringtones, whereas audio files which are greater than 300 KB are stored in the Music Folder, you can not set an MP3 file as a ringtone if it is larger than 300 KB.

Feel free to let us know your question about Samsung Flight or other AT&T phones, we will try our best to be helpful! Enjoy your phone!:)
