How to Pair Samsung SGH-a847 (Rugby II) With A Bluetooth Device

One of my good friends told me he was given a bluetooth device for his birthday gift, but didn’t know how to pair Bluetooth for his Samsung SGH-a847. Here I would like to share the answer with all Rugby II users, just follow the instructions below:

1)    Place the Bluetooth device in discoverable mode

2)    From the standby screen, press the right soft key for Menu

3)    Select Settings

4)    Select Connectivity

5)    Select Bluetooth

6)    Select My Devices

7)    Search for the Bluetooth device by pressing the left soft key for Select

8)    Press the left soft key for Yes to Activate Bluetooth and start the search

9)    Highlight the desired Bluetooth Device, using the navigation keys, then press the left soft key for Select

10) Enter Pin “0000″ then press left soft key for Pair, you will get a brief message stating connecting followed by connected

11) After being successfully connected you will return to the “My Devices” screen
