How to unlock the BlackBerry Torch 9800

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is locked when you buy it, that means you cannot use your SIM card on other GSM-based cellular carrier devices unless you unlocking it. we show you how to perform unlock on this Blackberry phone.

1. Press Settings or tap on Options

2. Press Advanced > SIM Card

3. Type mepd

Note: you cannot see what you type at this moment, so try to type the code properly.

4. Type mep2, still, you cant see. When complete typing, tap on the alt key, then press the 2 key (also the letter e on keyboard)

5. Enter the UNLOCK code you purchased/received

Now you can insert a SIM card from any GSM-based cellular provider. Use your Blackberry Torch as when it is bought!
