Some one emailed me and asked if the Pantech Breeze 2 could be used as a modem, the answer is yes. It is not hard to do, just follow my instructions below

First, you need to prepare your device to be used as a modem.

1. Verify the device indicates that wireless data service is available. If it does not, troubleshoot data service availability.

2. Enable the wireless modem.

Second, Connect the computer to the Internet, there are two options.

Option one, using AT&T Communication Manager

AT&T Communication Manager is AT&T’s all-in-one connection client, designed to seamlessly connect a computer to the Internet through the handset’s wireless data connection. Communication Manager can also be used to connect to thousands of AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Hotspots free of charge.

Option two, Using a Dial-up Networking connection via Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, or Vista

A Dial-up Networking (DUN) connection uses the operating system’s built-in networking client to establish a connection to the Internet. A DUN connection cannot be used to connect to an AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Hotspot as the technologies are incompatible.
