Blackberry and AT&T will have an event next week, they will reportedly launch Blacberry first-ever slider smartphone BlackBerry Bold 9800. The BlackBerry Bold 9800 is also called BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider. It is supposed to pack a portrait-oriented sliding QWERTY keyboard, a touchscreen display with a resolution of 360×480, a 5-megapixel camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, A-GPS and Wi-Fi.
What is really exciting is, the Blackberry Bold 9800 will come with the latest OS from RIM – BlackBerry OS 6.0 which is scheduled to debut this summer. BlackBerry OS 6.0 is touch-enabled and supports multitouch features like pinch-to-zoom. It offers social networking integration feature and could possibly appeal to a broader customer base.
From a BlackBerry Bold 9800 leaked image, we can see this device will come to AT&T, but it could also be offered by other carriers as well. if you want to know more information about this Blackberry phone, wait until Tuesday, August 3, at RIM’s and AT&T’s event.
